Arguments

A

An Expression or numeric matrix.

object

A LogDet object.

values

A list of numeric values for the arguments

idx

An index into the atom.

Methods (by generic)

  • to_numeric: The log-determinant of SDP matrix A. This is the sum of logs of the eigenvalues and is equivalent to the nuclear norm of the matrix logarithm of A.

  • validate_args: Check that A is square.

  • dim_from_args: The atom is a scalar.

  • sign_from_args: The atom is non-negative.

  • is_atom_convex: The atom is not convex.

  • is_atom_concave: The atom is concave.

  • is_incr: The atom is not monotonic in any argument.

  • is_decr: The atom is not monotonic in any argument.

  • .grad: Gives the (sub/super)gradient of the atom w.r.t. each variable

  • .domain: Returns constraints describing the domain of the node

Slots

A

An Expression or numeric matrix.
